I cannot see any obvious way to run Rosetta on a Mac. I am no kind of scientist or computer whizz but I have a powerful Mac sitting here that could be helping. I cannot for the life of me work out how to do so though. |

Welcome to Rosetta@home! There are basically two parts. One is the BOINC client, which coordinates with projects to get and report completed work. The other is to attach BOINC to Rosetta@home. BOINC offers these instructions on installing the BOINC client on a Mac. Once you do that, you just attach to a project, and select Rosetta@home from the list. Use the login information that you specified to post your question on the R@h website, and you should be all set. Be aware that in will be difficult to get any work units for the next 2 days or so. The project is undergoing a major ramp up for COVID, and it will take some time to get work out to all of the machines of folks @home. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
