First you will need to create an account at rosetta@home. There is a link from the home page to this web page.

On completing this you will be sent an email with the project URL and your account key. Then start BOINC manger on your PC, select the projects tab and click on the "Attach to new project button". Enter your details from the email click OK and it should automatically start downloading the client and data file to run Rosetta@home.

How can I still get the update?

Rosetta is a BOINC based project. You must download and install the BOINC manager software before you can run the project. There are links on the project homage to the BOINC software downloads. After installing BOINC you can use the "Attach Project" function to attach your computer to the project. It will then download and run all the necessary software for the project.

First I must aplologize for my lack of details that mislead you all. I have supported SETI for many years and only last year due to some personal reasons I decided do drop any project unrelated to human health improvement. That was the time when I uninstalled BOINC and put World Community Grid Agent with 2 projects attached: FightAIDS@Home and Human Proteome Folding.
My actual agent's version is 3.0 (2844) and I was wondering if there is any update available for it...

RAC is a measure of "recent average credit". It is a sort of scoring system to measure how much work you are doing for a project.

The World Community Grid (WCG) has a standalone client, and also has a BOINC project. Sounds like you have the standalone. It is using Rosetta to study the proteome folding. Updates being developed here in Rosetta@Home will benefit projects like that as they accept enhancements and release them to their install-base. But you must get updates from WCG. You can't just drop in a new version of Rosetta into their client. The WCG project will do that and create an updated client.

If you would like to help improve the Rosetta program and help the scientists that are developing it, then you might join the Rosetta@home (R@H) project, where you have posted your message. This is done by installing BOINC and then attaching to the Rosetta project. You could also use that BOINC installation to connect to the WCG and you can configure BOINC to allocate time as you wish between the two projects.

R@H is where the Rosetta technology is being developed that will help the whole scientific community as improvements are made.
