I'm running Rosetta for the first time in a few years and am finding "interesting" behavior. - In the past few days, my daily credits are dropping precipitously. - The boinc client on one machine shows consistent daily totals that are greater than the reported sum of all machines Can anyone confirm these observations or offer an explanation? |

I'm running Rosetta for the first time in a few years and am finding "interesting" behavior. There have been frequent periods of no work, periods of work that errors out in seconds, and mis-configuration of Tasks resulting in some systems not being able to process multiple Tasks (or even any Tasks) depending on the amount of system RAM & HDD space and how much has been made available to BOINC. - The boinc client on one machine shows consistent daily totals that are greater than the reported sum of all machinesYou need to select "Show all computers" on your Rosetta account page to see all of the Credit you have earned over the years. If there is a difference between RAC & Total credit shown for Rosetta on the BOINC Manager of a system compared to other systems, it's most likely due to you having 2 different accounts. Oh, and 2 of your systems that have recently started doing Rosetta work need to have the benchmarks run- they are using the default values which means the amount of Credit you get for work done will be less than it should be. Grant Darwin NT |
