Hello Just recently grabbed a Lenovo Chromebook Duet. Really nice for the price. Attempted to get Boinc running on it via the Linux development options, but unfortunately having no go of it. Not sure what the specific steps entail. Boinc doesn't seem to be starting when I use /etc/init.d/boinc-client start. Similar to Boincmgr. Just to make sure, I attempted changing settings in the normal boinc directory (/var/lib/boinc-client) to try and get remote access doesn't seem to function either - not sure if the IP address of the chromebook is being blocked via external access or not. Has anyone gotten this to work, or should I just resort to the boinc client on the play store? Any help appreciated. |

This any help? Thanks, I may give this a try. I wasn't sure how relevant this was since Linux is now able to be run via Chrome OS, but I will try it again and see where I get with the commands given. |
