If I look at my event log, I get this: Mon 15 Nov 2021 08:05:25 AM EST | Rosetta@home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Mon 15 Nov 2021 08:05:25 AM EST | Rosetta@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU Mon 15 Nov 2021 08:05:27 AM EST | Rosetta@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks Mon 15 Nov 2021 08:05:27 AM EST | Rosetta@home | No tasks sent Mon 15 Nov 2021 08:05:27 AM EST | Rosetta@home | Message from server: VirtualBox is not installed Mon 15 Nov 2021 08:05:27 AM EST | Rosetta@home | Project requested delay of 31 seconds What has VirtualBox got to do with anything? In any case, I do not have it on my machine and never did. If I look at my task list, I get this, which is major disappointment: State: All (0) · In progress (0) · Validation pending (0) · Validation inconclusive (0) · Valid (0) · Invalid (0) · Error (0) Application: All (0) · Rosetta (0) · Rosetta Mini (0) · rosetta python projects (0) since your system also reports" Rosetta@home 2,938,683 4,629 2 Nov 2005 Is there something I can do to fix this, or is it a problem on your end? |

VirtualBox is required to run the Rosetta Python tasks. However, as of now, there is some Rosetta 4.20 work (aka normal/standard Rosetta) which does not require VirtualBox. Since we haven't had 4.20 work for a few days, it's normal that your stats are at zero since whatever tasks you ran and returned have already been removed from the database. One of your PC has already received several tasks. The other one hasn't but it hasn't connected to the server for several hours so that's normal. Once it does, and assuming there is Rosetta 4.20 work available, it should receive tasks. |

VirtualBox is required to run the Rosetta Python tasks. Does that mean that I will have to bet VirtualBox, or whatever it is, to run Rosetta tasks in the future? |

Not at this stage. They are still producing Rosetta 4.20 work, however once a batch runs out it can be 2-7 days before another batch is ready to be released.VirtualBox is required to run the Rosetta Python tasks.Does that mean that I will have to bet VirtualBox, or whatever it is, to run Rosetta tasks in the future?
