Hi I had Rosetta set to "no new work" so that it would run down the several WUs it first downloaded. It has now finished the last one so I switched it back to allow new work and used update to connect to the scheduler. However, all I get back is the message:
No new work is downloaded, I have tried to update several times and get the same response. My cache is empty of Rosetta WUs, so what do I need to do to download new WUs? I am puzzled what is going on. Many thanks |

Your other project is blocking getting new work from rosetta, you can suspend the other and it will work, reset helps too because long term dept and short term dept values changed. |

It was something to do with long term debt I think. I cleared this using BOINCDV and Rosetta downloaded WUs straight away. I really dislike the long term debt. I would prefer an option to turn long term debt off altogether. I personally do not need to balance the resource out in the long term, if no work is available from a project then I am happy for my other project to benefit from the extra available CPU time. LOL did I mention I dislike long term debt? |

It was something to do with long term debt I think. Bottom line, BOINC manager knew what it was doing and decided it didn't need more Rosetta work to keep your cache humming along. I just wish it WOULD get SOMETHING from each project, rather than letting it go completely down and then go on to something else... because when you DO need work (with OTHER projects, R@H always has work) it always seems there are no WUs or project is down or DB is backing up or router failed or whatever.
