I am one of those paranoid people who likes to build things from source wherever possible.

I fetched Nboinc_core_release_5_2_13 from cvs and proceeded to build on debian. It wanted libcurl3, so I tried to apt-get it, and it seems to want to reinstall my libc while it's at it. I get very nervous about things like libc changes that could leave me without a workable system if something goes wrong.

I guess i could just fetch and build libcurl3 from source.
