Hey, are teams just a little extra to the community or do they have separate (special) goals or little communities where everybody knows each other? Thanks :) |

Hey, Welcome to Rosetta Tom! Teams are an extra to the community, most of the individual BOINC projects (Rosetta, SETI, Einstein etc.) have their own forums - the 'team' idea gives an air of competitiveness to BOINCing. See this thread for details of some of the teams. |

Hey, Yes, some of the teams have their own websites and message boards, and help each other before posting on the project's boards. If you'd like to learn more (tee hee) go to the cafe board and post something like "I'd like to join a team that will help me crunch Rosetta" and see what happens :) Add this signature to your EMail: Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |
