How do I remove computers that are listed, but do not have Rosetta installed on them any longer? I "detached" from the project on the computers, and then uninstalled. I thought this would remove them from the list. |

And, if I may add a short extra to your question, how do I remove projects? I have a couple that I haven't crunched for for six months and I can't remove my computers from those projects and I can't removed those projects from my combined stats. dag --Finding aliens is cool, but understanding the structure of proteins is useful. |

To remove computers click the "Your computers" on left side menu in the boinc window. Select which computer you want by click on the computer id number. On this page scroll down to bottom the option will be there next to merge this computer. Im not exactly sure of the number of days, but I think they have to be inactive for 30 days before you can remove them. |

Have you tried this on P@H? dag --Finding aliens is cool, but understanding the structure of proteins is useful. |

I have a couple that I haven't crunched for for six months and I can't remove my computers from those projects and I can't removed those projects from my combined stats. To remove the projects in the boinc window, under projects tab select the project then select "detach". How to remove them from your combined stats? All i found was this "What is a retired project? Retired projects are projects that are no longer active. These projects have reached their goal, and are no longer sending results to hosts. It's also not possible to sign up or attach to these projects. Credit granted by these projects will always be part of your BOINC combined account, except when your CPID changes and differs from a retired project. As these projects do no longer update the CPID, it's impossible to join these stats with the combined account again. Stats of the retired projects will remain visible on BOINCstats, and will be frozen on the day the project stats were last updated." |

So, after 30 days or so, there will be a remove/delete in the same place as the merge function? Nice. Oh well, And here I thought it would be a quick and easy thing to do. Instead, it is a "not so" quick and easy thing to do :-) Thanks |

To be able to "delete" a host from the record, you must wait until there are no more results in the database attributed to that host. I.E wait until results say "zero", then you can delete the host. |

Thanks for clearing that up about when you can delete a host. |
