Hi
I'm getting a little frustrated with no work from rosetta.

When I request an 'update' and 'allow new work' I continually get the following messages back:-

15/12/2005 9:35:03 p.m.||request_reschedule_cpus: project op
15/12/2005 9:35:07 p.m.|rosetta@home|Sending scheduler request to https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta_cgi/cgi
15/12/2005 9:35:07 p.m.|rosetta@home|Reason: Requested by user
15/12/2005 9:35:07 p.m.|rosetta@home|Note: not requesting new work or reporting results
15/12/2005 9:35:22 p.m.|rosetta@home|Scheduler request to https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta_cgi/cgi succeeded

I have my preferences set to 'Connect to network about every 7 days'

I've had it working okay about 2 weeks ago.

Any advice out there guys.

Indeed, and what core client are you running?

Not a Rosetta issue - you aren't _asking_ for more work. Chances are you've built up a "debt" to other projects that must be cleared first. Until that debt is paid, Rosetta won't get work.

If you were attached to SETI during the week-long outage, and didn't suspend it, you probably owe SETI a lot of hours...

humm trying to figure out what your problem might be i did what i always do and serched the BoincStats

i found 2 of you... but i am asumeing that the one your talking about is the one with rosetta project on it ... im guessing eithor these are the same machine or rosetta is eithor running on a slow computer... if it is the same computer i am guessing you build up some SETI debt when seti went offline for a week if you are only running rosetta 100% of the time yes i can see you are haveing a problem.

remember none of us can wave a magic want and instantly solve all your problems it takes alot of time sometimes to figure out what the problem is..

Oh if the 2 of you are the same person you can try to merge your 2 statistics. oh well ran out of semi usefull stuff to say time to hit post

Thanks for getting back to me.

Boinc stats was so confusing that I went to http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one
which was much less confusing and more helpful in getting a multi stat up and running. ie. they made it so easy to find out what the account numbers were !!

Just to prove how confusing boinc stats is I cannot find out how to delete a
stat that I previously created with them. Can you help me on that one ???

regards
Alan
