In my list of computers, the win 98 shows twice. Once for each wu it got. I'm not new to Boinc, this is 5th project I'm attached to. Have had Boinc for about a year I think. Thank you ----------------------- Click to see my tag My tag SNAFU'ed? Turn the Page! :D |

Not uncommon, if there's a "hiccup" during the attach process. Best bet is to pick one and just merge it with the other. |

actually, can we take some confusion out of that process too? After a recent merge thing at my other projects, I get the feeling that you select all that are the same computer, click merge, and it will decide which one is going to stay. meaning, I don't have to think about which one is to remain, and click that as the one to merge, or to be merged, or merged to or.... :) ----------------------- Click to see my tag My tag SNAFU'ed? It keeps the highest one ... which stinks as I lost some of my nice low numbers ... |

Wow, that does stink. I liked my low number with that-there chat program I don't use anymore. Was a sign of wisdom, like age. :) ----------------------- Click to see my tag My tag SNAFU'ed? Turn the Page! :D |

It keeps the highest [host id] ... which stinks as I lost some of my nice low numbers ... but it merges the info, in particular it keeps the earliest connect date, so at least you can still 'prove' how early that box got involved |
