The Review you linked was indeed written by some of the OpenZika Researchers but it has nothing to do with WCG.

I think that was a rather artful way of stating it.
Since the WCG projects are conducted by scientists, and since he was, and potentially is, a scientist working on a WCG project, then if he indicates there is a possibility for more WCG work, then there is.

They might run a new project in the future, but that was not the interpretation I made from the Review.
They speak about lessons learned from the OpenZika project regarding the computations, targets and libraries of compounds, etc but nothing about running anything at WCG in the future.

I don't think he was stating there would necessarily be more work either, but it looked like a possible future direction to me.

EDIT: But what I found more curious was the need by WCG to distance themselves from that possibility. I guess they just don't want their hands tied, or any implication of their future work. OK, fair enough if that is what they want.

The whole point of the review seemed to me like a proposal to a Vina-based OpenSARS-Cov-2 project, yes I agree! But not necessarily run on WCG (they speak about reduced targets and compound libraries maybe small enough to be computed internally).

We'll see.

Don't request tasks for NVIDIA GPU
Project has no apps for NVIDIA GPU

Is this CPU only?

Yeah, I ran into this too and banged my head against a wall too long until I figured out. why Rosetta wasn't using my GPUs..

However, since F@H appears to support GPU folding for their COVID efforts, I run BOINC on my CPUs for Rosetta@Home, and F@H on only a GPU slot for their folding projects so they don't interfere with each other. However, F@H is so overwhelmed with new volunteers right now, they're frequently running out of Work Units, or otherwise have some server-side delays in getting enough work out to the idle GPU workers (at least from what I understand from their posts).

A heads-up before any Mac users get excited: the MacOS F@H client does NOT support GPU folding. If you have a supported GPU, you will need to use Bootcamp to run the Windows or Linux F@H client in order to do GPU folding on your Mac (hardware) to help with COVID-19.

Otherwise if you really want to put your GPU to use, you can try tweaking AnonymousPryme's script and use BOINC on your GPU for a different project (that uses GPUs) and CPU for Rosetta/COVID-19.

F@H it gives no hash points might be a (bitcoin miner) screen saver doesn't work. and is independent software not in the list of boinc links. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/redline-info-stealing-malware-spread-by-folding-home-phishing/?fbclid=IwAR0knzCKOHKtXMqiAQV1_FYppv0iOhKI8RuxGkQvb_w7DJL0cBiooEeBVJc#.XnPOybn_1k4.facebook

From the form post and tweets, for me the situation relating COVID-19 work is not clear.
Is there in the moment any COVID-19 related work in progress?
What exactlly will be processed by Rosetta?

They seems to be aware of recent increase in volunteers concerned about the coronavirus outbreak.
I can see a few of workunits have literal "COVID-19" text string in the name, and "SAVE_ALL_OUT" suffix to every single one of them including non-covid WUs.
I believe at least it will help us keeping adequate amount of hopes, so that we don't lose our sanity by unbearable fear.

As team founder, I would like to join the project so that my volunteers can participate in the fight against the COVID19. Do any of the project Admins have any idea how long it will take to research this? Will the supply of WU's be spread over days, weeks or months? Just to get an idea. Thanks for your reply.
