Currently, I have 14 machines with 80+ cores and 14+ GPUs. When I switched over to run one of them to Rosetta, from cancer research (WCG), I did NOT receive anything related to covid19. Whenever I would receive ALL WUs for covid19, I will switch over... Till then I will stick with cancer research. Let me know when covid19 is the priority here. I am NOT going to download the fold@home app. If it is not thru BOINC, I do not run it. James |

I have been fortunate enough now to have some convit 19 tasks. I appreciate the screenshot and task name thanks. I must say that's an impressive increase in performance (referring to a few posts below) Have a crunching good day!! |

Yeah, credit per day indeed doubled: https://www.boincstats.com/stats/14/project/detail/credit But still, almost everytime I see something posted around, it's about Folding and not about a BOINC project :( |

There were I think 8-10 projects which had just their code in robetta, and you had to search for it on robetta's site. And there you also had to use ncov, covid, and maybe sars2 for searching if I remember correctly. So right now it is essential, that many people join in. I also think that cancer research is vital, but right now everly flop counts toward making a possibility for many people to live another day. I was really excited back then, when I discovered how to get more information about robetta projects, and found I was doing an ncov wu. |

Could you please go through how you look up the robetta work units, with an example? I think if you were to do a screencap of the workunits that you're processing and highlight the ones you found to be going towards Covid 19 research, it would be very informative and help boost people's moral. Edit: This message was directed to torma99, but if anyone else would be able to do this please do. |

I'm not an admin but is expect Corona research will go on for years, although maybe not continuously. It's not the only protein that needs researching though, so the effort won't be wasted. |

I am NOT going to download the fold@home app. If it is not thru BOINC, I do not run it. That would not really make any difference - if you download a batch of COVID tasks then other machines will pick up the tasks you didn't take. The result is the same. |

About 50% of the WU's I got today are COVID tasks. Considering that Rosetta does a lot of other things that's quite ok. |

I think if you were to do a screencap of the workunits that you're processing and highlight the ones you found to be going towards Covid 19 research, it would be very informative and help boost people's moral. So your first thing to do is go to robettas queue: http://robetta.bakerlab.org/queue.php At target try ncov, sars, or covid, you will see the work units. If you have robetta work units there is a long code with two 5 digit numbers: rb_03_15_18506_18311_ab_t000__h001_robetta_IGNORE_THE_REST_11_18_902075_5 You have to look for the second number. In this example 18311. You can type this in the robetta queue into the ID box, and see what it actually is. Hope I am not wrong, I read this somewhere here in the forum. |

Some new tasks have it directly in the name, e.g. 3ei3ij3t_3h3_design3_COVID-19_SAVE_ALL_OUT_902883_3_0 |

FWIW I'm seeing 50%+ wu's related to coronavirus identified by explicit COVID-19 in filename or from rb_ robetta label. |

Having moved a few machines over for "testing" to see if I would get any COVID19 WUs, there were some acquired. And cruncher dcdc made a good point in their post. Moving all machines over. :) James |
