I heard those recordings when I was in graduate school 35 years ago. I'll try to find them. If I find them, I'll post a link or maybe a PM.America is world famous for screwing up everything, especially the English language. People speak what they hear around themLet me correct that for you. Low intelligence people speak the same as those around them. Rude expressions of decades ago were the slang of yesterday and the acceptable speech of today. You wouldn't think so, I got banned from a forum for saying "the weather is damn wet in Scotland". You personally may not think American English is proper, but that is an ethnocentric bias. As you read this, you would have no idea whether the writer was British, American, Canadian, Australian or South African, except there might be a few minor differences in spelling. So am I communicating in proper English? You would not know unless I voiced this communication.I can tell quite easily actually. The whole world can detect you lot a mile off. |

So many speak Punjabi too, doesn't mean those sort are intelligent.America is world famous for screwing up everything, especially the English language.and yet so many speak it.... By the way, talking about screw ups...aunty Liz sure made a mess of things. Bet your investment took a nice hit that day.By dying? Oh, is royalty supposed to be everlasting? We're run by a prime minister, the royalty [1] is to collect cash from American tourists. (That's terrorists in your pronunciation). What investment? I've never invested in anything. [1] Where do you think the world royalty comes from? As in "a payment made to writers, people who have invented things, owners of property, etc. every time their books, devices, land, etc. are bought or used by others" |

The Royalty takes your money as well from the taxes.£345 million a year = £5 a year each. I don't think I notice it. Especially as I don't pay tax. Your being run by Male copy cat Trump in the past and now Female Trump.I wish, then we wouldn't have tax burdens like royalty and the NHS. Your government pensionA free gift. Perhaps it means they Royals collect royalties from the lower classes.[1] Where do you think the world royalty comes from? As in "a payment made to writers, people who have invented things, owners of property, etc. every time their books, devices, land, etc. are bought or used by others"HAHA good one. Do you have to use colours instead of just the quote tag? |
