mac os x hang help plz

It had been running fine until this morning when the Rosetta screen saver kicked in and now my machine is hung, not just hung it is totally locked up. It is locked on the screen saver screen. The display is not updating, its just flat out 'stuck'. I cannot interrupt it, I cannot get to terminal to kill it, I cannot even turn the power off my iMac. At this point all I think I can do is to pull the plug. I hate to just pull the plug on my iMac. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks :) ID: 19409 · Rating: 0 · rate: / Reply Quote
