My Computer ASUS A8V MB w/ AMD Athlon64processor3000+(Win XP home ed) is now indepndently shown w/ computer id #289354 and id #276012. This happened after I replaced an overheated failing hard drive. With a new harddrive I return to run the Rosetta project. The computer is now running on a new computer id #289354. Should I just leave this as is? The original id is still reporting its accumulated credits and the results is deminishing.I hope the server recognise this. Others may have encountered same problem. joseps I turned off my 5computers when I went on vacation. When I return today, I can not upload work. Need work units to run computers. joseps |

Hi joseps, got to: Your Account => Computers on this account => open the computer in question and go to the bottom of the page. There you find a link "merge this computer". Click it, select the other machine that is identical with the one shown and click the "Merge hosts" button. Now you have only one machine left (the one with the newer id). Regards, Chrisotph |
