not memory but disc space, you need to review your preferences and reset them..... BOINC only thinks it is allowed to use 1.0 MB. One of your preferences is limiting the amount available too much. There should be 3, max available, min to leave free, and max % available. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

not memory but disc space, you need to review your preferences and reset them..... This is the settings for the computer. Use no more than 0.05 GB disk space Leave at least 0.001 GB disk space free Use no more than 15% of total disk space Write to disk at most every 60 seconds Use no more than 75% of total virtual memory This is the result 2005-10-31 18:20:50||Starting BOINC client version 5.2.5 for windows_intelx86 2005-10-31 18:20:50||libcurl/7.14.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8 zlib/1.2.3 2005-10-31 18:20:50||Data directory: D:PROGRAMBOINC 2005-10-31 18:20:54||Processor: 1 GenuineIntel Pentium(r) III Processor 2005-10-31 18:20:54||Memory: 383.07 MB physical, 1.63 GB virtual 2005-10-31 18:20:54||Disk: 5.94 GB total, 4.53 GB free 2005-10-31 18:20:54|rosetta@home|Computer ID: 44780; location: school; project prefs: default 2005-10-31 18:20:54||General prefs: from rosetta@home (last modified 2005-10-31 18:16:32) 2005-10-31 18:20:54||General prefs: using separate prefs for school 2005-10-31 18:20:54||Remote control not allowed; using loopback address 2005-10-31 18:20:57|rosetta@home|Deferring communication with project for 23 hours, 55 minutes, and 49 seconds 2005-10-31 18:21:13||request_reschedule_cpus: project op 2005-10-31 18:21:15|rosetta@home|Sending scheduler request to https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta_cgi/cgi 2005-10-31 18:21:15|rosetta@home|Reason: Requested by user 2005-10-31 18:21:15|rosetta@home|Requesting 86400 seconds of new work 2005-10-31 18:21:20|rosetta@home|Scheduler request to https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta_cgi/cgi succeeded 2005-10-31 18:21:20|rosetta@home|General preferences have been updated 2005-10-31 18:21:20|rosetta@home|Message from server: No work sent 2005-10-31 18:21:20|rosetta@home|Message from server: (there was work but you don't have enough disk space allocated) 2005-10-31 18:21:20|rosetta@home|Message from server: Not enough disk space (only 50.0 MB free for BOINC). Your are only allowing 50meg for Rosetta to run and you need at least a gig in my opinion, because some WUs are large, some you need to set the amount to 1.5 gig or maybe 2 gig Try this Use no more than 1.5 GB disk space Leave at least 0.001 GB disk space free Use no more than 75% of total disk space Write to disk at most every 60 seconds Use no more than 75% of total virtual memory BOINC Wiki |
