I have a PC with Windows Vista. Every time I terminate the Boinc manager, or mean PC switch off, lose I the contact to the Rosetta project. If I start the Boinc manager again, I must again enter project and my user data. All current processes were terminated, and given to other user. I have still two computers with Windows XP, on those run it perfectly. Apology for my bad English, but I writes and not very often speaks it. |

Many participants have found that installing outside of the "program files" tree will prevent this problem from occuring. My vista system is installed to "d:boinc" and it works fine. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

If you are using a BOINC Account Manager (such as BAM) it may be thinking you didn't want the project on this machine. If that is the issue, you would have to review the setup of the account manager. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
