hey over there ;)

i have a short question, i recently updated my computer from amd to a new intel core2duo. r@h startet with 2 threads but now, after one day running the tool i only have one thread left for hours?!

how can i set up that r@h can use 2 threads?!

in my preferences it is set up as follows:

Do work while computer is running on batteries?
(matters only for portable computers) no

Do work while computer is in use? no

Do work only after computer is idle for 3 minutes
Do work only between the hours of (no restriction)
Leave applications in memory while suspended?
(suspended applications will consume swap space if 'yes') no
Switch between applications every
(recommended: 60 minutes) 60 minutes
On multiprocessors, use at most 16 processors
Use at most
Enforced by version 5.6 and greater 100 percent of CPU time

can you pls help me out ?

Yes your out of Wu-s

Maybe you should consider setting your "Connect to network about every" a bit higher.

Yes at the moment there seem to be somthing wrong as no new work is comming out.

As for your setting, if you only run this project a 1 day setting works fine
most of the time.

hm and beside this prob, is it normal, that each core is in use with about 25% (50% system load)?
thought boinc is using one core for one operation? :)

I just recently did the same thing and a rosetta immediately popped in and the dual core was doing two at once. I think it is simply a lack of work to be done, why don't you attach to another site and have two different ones running.
(spread the wealth). ken
