Good to know I'm not the only one who's suffering from the issue I've seen. Will temporarily stall Rosetta calculations until the upload procedure is working again in a more reliable way. This is odd. Is there any useful info in the client logs? |

User of the day for January 27, 2019 was 'Flux' who joined 4 March 2006 and has 0 credits. He writes in his profile: 'Everyone should take part there is no excuse.' If this user is worthy of the title 'user of the day' then what disqualifies one from this 'honor' lol. Unable to convert oxygen to carbon dioxide perhaps? |

User of the day for January 28 abandoned the project 9 1/2 years ago. I'm here since 2005. I have 2,6 million points and over 700 posts on forums. I'm never been a "User of the day". Yes, maybe there is a problem with this kind of "reward" |

'User of the day' for February 6, 2019 is 'Duffmeister' who abandoned the project a whopping 13+ years ago (January 2006)! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/hosts_user.php?sort=rpc_time&rev=0&show_all=1&userid=13209 User of what day? 13 years ago? Maybe these are awarded posthumously. |

User of the day is long long long gone 'fesstess' who checked out October of 2007. Kind of amusing in a way. How low key can they go? On the one hand, I believe that BOINC represents (in some sense) one of the largest supercomputers in the world, and this Rosetta@home project corresponds to one of the oldest and largest applications running on that supercomputer. But on the other hand, it really feels like there isn't much concern on the other side. Checking with my third hand, maybe Rosetta is the BOINC project that doesn't give a ... for contributors who don't give a ... Survival of the dullest? (In the sense of "Who cares?") And yet I'm closing in on 10 million "points" of "Word done", so I might as well wait that long. Or maybe the Roesetta project will just go away before that? #1 Freedom = (Meaningful - Constrained) Choice{5} != (Beer^3 | Speech) |

User of the day for February 15 was 'Sambernardo' who abandoned the project in March of 2007, 2 months after Windows Vista was released. So glad the Rosetta team finds a 1 day crunching equivalent 12 years ago notable! |

Look, nobody except an algorithm chooses these "Users of the day". They, i.e. the admins, have to purge the database and throw out all the ancient accounts with 0 points. I proposed that years ago...nothing happened...nothing like that ever will... Nobody that matters reads the forums... You can stop posting here...and wander off to FAH...I did... |
