Rosetta doesn't seem to like my chip. I am running SETI, CPDN, and WCG just fine on the latest BOINC with no issues on a fresh WinXP SP2 install. Rosetta is the only BOINC project I want to run that doesnt seem to like my new chip. 5.9b is still running fine on my old Athlon 2500+.

The symptoms are as follows:

- Workunit finishes with 'computational error'

- Rosetta's executable crashes in Windows (BOINC doesnt crash.. it continues to run whatever else is in the queue)

For now I've detached the project. Anyone out there with a 5000+ running Rosetta okay? Notice my credit.. I did a fair amount of number crunching before I built my new system. I'd love to get back to 'work'. =)

Don't worry, it's not just your AMD cpu. I've got several intel quad-core boxes that hang all the time on 5.90. Usually one will hang out of 4 running processes,
with the same error "computational error'. I've had other cpu's hang also with 5.90 but nothing like the intel quad core "kentsfield" I think they are? 2.4gig.
5.90 has just been nothing but havoc for them. Up till 5.90 they ran great.

/Mike
