BOINC problem, anyone help please

I opened BOINC manager to find that they was no project attached. Rosetta had just vanished I tried to re-install it and all I got was 'BOINC manager is not currently connected to BOINC client Tried the File/select, menu option connect and typing 'localhost' in the box. but that didn't work. A password did automatically appear in the password box, no idea what the password was or even what password should be in there. HELP PLEASE, I'M 2 CRUNCHERS DOWN(As I have a full re-install too) EDIT/ I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Thanks for reading. If not Exit at the SysTray icon and restart BOINC Manager (Start > All Programs > Startup > BOINC Manager or from Start > All Programs > BOINC > BOINC Manager).
