I have several computers with accounts to a couple projects. The first computer I loaded the projects on I wasn't seeing in my user computer list with the others. It took me awhile to figure out that my email address on my account for the computer had a missing character. I attempted to update my profile email address but I get a message there is already an account with that email, well dua that's me you know. Same user name and password, shouldn't there be some sort of email verification to go with the sign up. Anyway, if anyone knows how to correct this issue it would be great hearing from you. M |

No, you can't combine the two user IDs. You will have to determine which host(s) is attached under the wrong account and on that host, detach from the project, then attach again using the correct EMail address. If you had caught the problem before attaching a host under the wrong EMail address, and before creating the second account with the correct address, you would have been ok. But, as it is, the system basically thinks you are trying to take over the account of a different user. That is why it won't allow the change. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Thanks for the reply. It took me some time to figure that all I needed to do after submitting the email address change. Sign off the account from the user account page to the right and below 'Change Email Address'. Then I signed in with my actual email address making sure the check box was marked 'keep me signed in on this computer'. I had to do this with each Project I had signed on with that computer. Now, I actually haven't seen the Computer listed yet with the others or the credits incorporated with the others. But I will monitor it the next couple of days before making any additional changes. I may end up having to detact the projects later. I guess I could put a hold on any new projects until the ones in the Queue are finished. Then detact from the projects, and then reattach after verifing the email address for the account is correctly listed. M |
