My guess is that the 1r69 portion refers to this protein, and the rest refers to who is investigating it, how, and with what batch of work: PDBsum entry: 1r69 http://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbsum/1r69 |

My guess is that the 1r69 portion refers to this protein, and the rest refers to who is investigating it, how, and with what batch of work: yes--this is a bit cryptic, isn't it! this calculation is part of the energy function optimization I described in my journal. a new method for modeling the protein sidechains, called "dun08", is being improved by iteratively comparing between calculation and experiment, and this is iteration 2 on protein 1r69. with the improved energy function, developed through calculations like this one, we should be able to signficantly increase the accuracy of protein structure prediction and design. |
