Second per point ? Very difficult one with Rosetta. It depends on you Computer mainly, faster computers (cpu dependant mainly) get more Points (called cobblestones/credit here) per second, in other words they do more work in that second. Another factor is the current BOINC benchmarking system that is used. They can alter you credit/second. But an easy way to find out what credit rate your currently running at it use BoincView it shows it on one of the sections [url=http://boincview.amanheis.de/[/url] Team mauisun.org |

I did inquire about how credits are give. I was able to check the difinition of cobblestone. 1 cobblestone = 1/100day of cpu time. 1 day=86400 seconds, 1hour =3600 seconds, 1 min=60 seconds, which means 1 cobblestone =864 seconds. I work out my calc backward. If my total credits = 10799.18, my computers cpu were running 9330491seconds =TC *864, OR 2591.8HOURS=TC*864/3600, OR 107.99DAYS=(TC*864/3600/24. The 107.99 days is approximately the totaltime my computers 3-4, were running. Each one of my computers have different bechmark results, so I can not be specific. Its a good approximation I guess. I hope I did not forget something else. joseps I turned off my 5computers when I went on vacation. When I return today, I can not upload work. Need work units to run computers. joseps |
